The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) invites individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism and their families to join in a virtual conversation with ODP's policy team. The conversation will cover basics about the services ODP offers and it is an opportunity for individuals and families to ask questions. These meetings are informal, meaning the conversation will not be recorded, and rules will be set before the meeting starts to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to provide questions and comments.

April’s Positive Practice program sessions will focus on Human Trafficking. Hear from speakers at The Covenant House of Philadelphia. The Covenant House works with young individuals, primarily under the age of 21, who are facing homelessness and victimization. These individuals are often at risk for human trafficking, which is statistically increasing in the state of Pennsylvania. ODP FAMILY SATISFACTION SURVEY HIGHLIGHTS

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) would like to share some of the Family Survey Highlights from 2021. Family members were asked about their satisfaction with the support their loved one receives from Supports Coordinators (SC) so they can live the life they want to live. The survey was conducted by the Supporting Families Leadership Team as part of a quality management plan with the goal that families are supported.

The PA Developmental Disabilities Council is pleased to announce two new funding opportunities for organizations and individuals.
The first opportunity is for Community Response Projects<https://www.paddc.org/grant-funding-opportunities/available-projectsgrants/community-response-project/>. These projects are supported for up to $5,000 over a 6-month timeframe and will be awarded to community-based organizations that provide supports to people with developmental disabilities who have been affected by a local, statewide, or national, natural disasters. This can include, but is not limited to, addressing concerns related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
